Multi-Sectoral AMR Data Sharing System

The TADAS Sandpit project was funded under the COHESA project. The project Capacitating One Health in Eastern and Southern Africa (COHESA) is co-funded by the OACPS Research and Innovation Programme, a Programme Implemented by the Organization of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific states (OACPS) with the financial support of the European Union.

The TADAs Sandpit project aims to develop a multisectoral data capturing, analysis and reporting platform to integrate AMR data from human, animal and environmental laboratories so as to enable the country to fulfil its goal of establishing the national AMR surveillance network that can provide quality data to further inform policies and clinical practices.

One Health Surveillance Pillars

Connecting data streams across sectors to provide a complete understanding of antimicrobial resistance.

Human Health Data

Human Data

Collecting and sharing comprehensive animal, human, and environmental data is essential in the global fight against AMR, supporting prevention efforts across all sectors.

Animal Health Data

Animal Data

In LMICs, gathering and sharing data from animal, human, and environmental sectors is crucial for understanding AMR drivers and developing targeted, cost-effective strategies to address it.

Environmental Health Data

Environmental Data

By combining data from these three sectors, it is possible to develop a more integrated and effective strategy to combat AMR, protecting health across species and ecosystems.
